Havas Lynx is celebrating yet another raft of award wins following last night’s prestigious Roses Creative Awards.

The Manchester based healthcare agency collected a total of six gongs – including an incredible four Golds for its innovative Sun Safety On Site poster campaign for Cancer Research and HSS Hire.

The agency also picked up two Bronze awards for its Change the Face of HIV campaign for ViiV Healthcare, and for its thought-provoking BIRTH campaign for The Royal Exchange. The big wins placed Havas Lynx among the top six most awarded agencies of the night.

The Roses Creative Awards, organised by The Drum, celebrates exceptional creative talent within the UK advertising industry, providing a platform to shine outside of London. Big or small, old or new, any agency can enter if their office, or their client’s office, is based outside of the M25.

Havas Lynx’s latest wins bring the agency’s total number of awards to 15 at The Roses, now in its sixth year, with this year’s Sun Safety On Site campaign the agency’s stand-out winner deservedly out-shining stiff competition from other leading agencies.

Designed to raise awareness of the risks of skin cancer to construction workers who are exposed to high levels of UVA rays, Havas Lynx’s unique and powerful Sun Safety On Site poster campaign featured the world’s first light reactive poster campaign to warn of the dangers of skin cancer and the need to stay protected in the sun. The striking poster utilised for the first time specialist light reactive ink technology.

Havas Lynx’s creative team produced a stark graphic of an apparently featureless, colourless face in a hard hat – but which, when exposed to ultraviolet light, dramatically morphs into grim “life” as a skull in a shock of vibrant colour.
