Senior Medical Writer


The role of Senior Medical Writer will see you take a lead role in the Medical team, and overall business unit; you will be relied on heavily on for your scientific knowledge and commercial awareness to guide projects and add significant value.

You will be the sounding board and the final point of call for any work leaving the agency. You will continue to produce outstanding copy across a range of media, including websites, emailers, sales aids, tenders, presentations, events collateral, and disease awareness campaigns, as well as fronting client relations alongside the Client Services team.

We are seeking an experienced medical writer that has a robust background in a healthcare communications agency or pharmaceutical company. Having knowledge in oncology, diabetes, HIV and infectious diseases, or dermatology would be advantageous.

Role responsibilities

  • You will take the lead on client brand activity and be the ‘go-to’ writer across a number of clients and therapy areas
  • You will produce and edit copy into the correct format for use across various media as appropriate, drawing on your experience to consider the suitability of UX and project flow
  • You will work closely with the Client Services team to devise solutions that fulfil and exceed client expectations, and make innovative suggestions
  • You will mentor juniors and take overall responsibility for their involvement, actively progressing their personal development
  • You will continually expand your excellent knowledge of industry regulations (e.g. the ABPI Code of Practice) and the medical approval processes (Zinc and Veeva)

Account Director


The role of Account Director will see you take ownership of your accounts, with a focus on client satisfaction, business development, profitability and staff performance. As an Account Director, you will ensure that your clients receive the highest individual attention and that we deliver projects on time, on budget and on brief. You will lead the consultation on key strategic communication ensuring contextual suitability, exceptional creative work and industry-first innovation and quality in all campaigns. You will lead and inspire your team in their professional and personal development.

Role responsibilities

  • You will build meaningful and trusting relationships with your clients ensuring you position Havas Lynx Group as their strategic partner
  • You will immerse yourself in your client’s business and industry in order to be best placed to deliver quality campaigns and lead your team by example
  • You will be instrumental in shaping the strategy and judging creative concepts in relevance to the original brief
  • You will have a proactive approach to identifying and initiating business opportunities with new and existing clients
  • You will take ownership for the management of your team; leading by example and supporting their individual needs
  • You will manage the wider production team; ensuring your team work cohesively to ensure that work is managed accurately in terms of timescales and budgets
  • You will be responsible for the financial health of your accounts, proactively identifying and resolving any issues and escalating these to the Client Services Director when appropriate

Media Planner


The role of Media Planner will see you sit in the Analytics, Media and Performance team. You will work in an integrated Media team to plan and execute global media campaigns for our clients. You will use your expertise to educate both internal teams and your clients on the possibilities that can be achieved through data driven media campaigns. You will work with your team to plan and execute the appropriate media campaigns for your client’s needs.

Role responsibilities

  • You will work with the client and the account team to understand the client’s business objectives and advertising strategy
  • You will liaise with the creative agency team, clients and consumers to develop media strategies and campaigns
  • You will undertake research and gather data to inform the development of media strategies
  • You will make decisions on the best form of media for specific clients and campaigns
  • You will undertake research and analyse data using specialist industry resources
  • You will Identify target audiences and analyse their characteristics, behaviour and media habits
  • You will present proposals, including cost schedules, to clients
  • You will recommend the most appropriate types of media to use, as well as the most effective time spans and locations
