What’s the Centrepoint of Christmas?

Blog

We often take for granted the roof over our head, the food on our plate and the people we surround ourselves with. But what about the people who aren’t as fortunate?

There are many situations that may lead to a young person to become homeless. Unfortunately sometimes it seems safer for these vulnerable people to live on the street rather than stay at home.

This Christmas, rather than sending Christmas cards, each team at the Havas Lynx Group has been challenged to fundraise as much money as possible for Centrepoint – the youth homeless charity.

For just £144 per year, Centrepoint can unlock a better future for those in desperate need. They can support a young homeless person by putting a roof over their head, encouraging them to get back into work or education. They do an incredible job; 86% of young homeless people who go through Centrepoint move on positively – moving in to their own homes, connecting back with their families, securing their first job or enrolling on to a university course.

So we’re asking you, what’s the Centrepoint of Christmas?

Please join us in helping to raise as much money as possible to support young homeless people across the UK. If you would like to donate towards this fantastic cause, you can do through the link here or to donate by text, please text HAVA51 £XX to 70070 with the amount you would like to donate. For example, if you wanted to donate £5, you’d text: ‘HAVA51 £5’ to 70070.

Thank you and Merry Christmas!
